NEW BLUNT BRAKES ARE NOW IN STOCK  - along with SOB Forks  and Compression systems

News as of 8th Nov: New brakes are in Melbourne along with the SOB forks and Compression systems . We expect to receive them on Wednesday some time.  Please bring in either your deck to have the free replacement fitted or your old brake to validate to have it replaced.       We will only replace brakes for decks which we have sold as we only will be getting replacement brakes to match our deck order.

A number of the brakes on the new AOS decks have broken, and after an investigation by Blunt Scooters it was discovered that the factory had used the wrong grade of Aluminium in the production. Below is a copy of an email from Blunt Scooters detailing their actions in regard to the problem.  Replacements due about  the 9th or10th of Nov along wih the SOB  Forks

 "Hello,

We have recently come across an issue with the material used in the Ace of Spades brake body. The Brake body which is meant to be made of high quality 6061-T6 has been manufactured with a cheaper Aluminum, un-knowing to us. 

We have taken direct action on this matter and a new batch of brakes is in production now, due in about 20 days.

If you have any breakage's of the AOS Brake please inform the customer that the new brake body is on its way. For the time been, please reply to this email the number of Brakes you would like as backups and we will have them sent out free of charge. These brakes are to be used as temporary  replacements for these customers. 

When the brakes arrive, every retailer that has brought  AOS decks will be sent the replacement brakes.

We pride ourselves in making the high quality parts and I can ensure you this is an isolated incident and all other Blunt products are using and made from the metals we have advertised."

This new brake should be available about the 10th of November and Blunt Scooters will make them available immediately. I must point out however, that not every brake will cause a problem. The level appears to be less than 2%, and is is great to see how fast and how well Blunt Scooters have reacted to this issue.  Because quality is a priority with Blunt Scooters they will soon become the worlds leading scooter parts supplier .
